A train on the Welsh rail network

Transport for Wales has cancelled services between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa in both directions for the rest of the day, with the operator blaming more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time. The disruption has run since 03:41.

Replacement buses run at no extra cost, CrossCountry trains accept TfW tickets on the route, and anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late can claim Delay Repay. The Penarth line's broken-rail delays also remain in place.
